Students of all ages are invited to join me, the “Art Plus” teacher, on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the next 5 weeks (June 24 - July 24) from 10 - 11:30 AM at Driftwood Elementary School Garden area (weather permitting) to help paint a large mural. The mural will eventually hang on the front of the school and will represent images unique to our area.

This project is being co-sponsored by the Port Orford Arts Council and Main Street Organization with grant funding from the Curry County Cultural Coalition and Wild Rivers Summer Youth Programs and is working in conjunction with the Free Summer Lunch Program offered at Driftwood School.

The lunch program runs Monday through Thursday from June 16th - July 24th, 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM, is free to all students and $3 for adults. So come out and work up an appetite painting, then head inside for a nice meal with nice people.
