Here comes the final Port Orford Second Saturday of the season and we are cooking up an OCTOBER PALOOZA! We have an Art Walk from 11am to 4pm featuring two fantastic galleries:

1. Katamorphic Gallery & Gifts at Kat’s Corner. Fantastic art by Kat Woods plus FREE Halloween treat bags and FREE temporary sugar skull tattoos.
2. Strange Angels Gallery & Gifts. Mystical & magical encaustic art by Becky Raymond plus FREE fresh baked cookies and delicious libations.

What would an OCTOBER PALOOZA be without dancing witches???? So, the Port Orford Witches Dance Group will be popping up all over town doing the wacky and wonderful dance to the wacky and wonderful German reggae song, “Shake Your Bacon”. See attached flyer for the full performance schedule and some photos from last year’s performances.

During the Art Walk the ever-popular monthly Music & Song Circle, a community gathering of local musicians and singers and happy listeners, will be filling Mr. Ed’s Underground Pub from 2pm to 4pm with the marvelous sounds of folks playing and singing together for the sheer joy of it. All are welcome to sing along, bring an instrument to play, or be an appreciative listener.

After the Art Walk, Coastal Swag is offering the perfect OCTOBER PALOOZA event – a Witch’s Hat Decorating shindig at 5pm. For $20 you get a witch hat and all the decorations you need to make your own unique hat from silly to fabulous. Plus refreshments! Space is limited! RSVP now!
